[image]( {NAME}, At Nomad Capitalist, we’re big believers in holistic international planning. If you ask us for a price quote for one specific item, we won’t do it. For example, asking “how much does Grenada citizenship cost?” is in my opinion the wrong question to ask. And using that random example, I want to explain exactly why. As someone who has lived an international life for many years now, I’ve become the guinea pig for what works and what doesn’t work. I constantly test out new residence and citizenship programs, banks, investments, and other strategies to see what works and what doesn’t. Over the years, I’ve learned the following: - The “nooks and crannies” matter. Sometimes the biggest problems come from overlooking seemingly innocent or tiny details. For example, we served one client who faced a $3 million tax bill just because his investment structure had a minor flaw that was easily fixed. - Timing and order matters. I recently approached a private bank in Europe about opening an account, but my many years doing business and investing in emerging markets concerned them. While I ultimately opened an account elsewhere, I can tell you that life is easier by taking a holistic view, looking years ahead, and anticipating your needs to create a proper order of doing things that makes you most presentable. - Baby steps are a good thing. Even if all you need is the aforementioned Grenada citizenship, there are probably other small things you could be doing to think and be more international, and hence make the most out of that one strategy you’re deploying now. Whether it’s moving a little gold offshore, storing your Ledger in a private vault overseas, or dipping your toe into a small investment, every step you take adds up toward pushing you further and helping you achieve your international goals comfortably. - Other countries operate differently. This seems obvious, but many people assume that every other country operates just like theirs. It’s a good thing that they don’t; that’s how you can find more freedom and prosperity in other places. But you need to think ahead to make sure you don’t waste time. - Nothing exists in a vacuum. Our team constantly dispels myths, such as that a Caribbean citizenship like Grenada will reduce your tax bill just by having it. That’s part of why we’re strong believers in holistic planning; nobody (except me, perhaps) wants Grenada citizenship just for grins. There are larger needs and wants that all need to be factored in, and it’s easier to handle it all at once. [image] I’ve made plenty of mistakes along the way that I’d like to help you avoid. Here at Nomad Capitalist, we help entrepreneurs and investors “put the pieces together” by coordinating multiple strategies in multiple jurisdictions at once. We also apply hard-fought, human lessons to help you avoid the same mistakes myself and others have made, so you can go where you’re treated best faster. If that’s something you’d like help with, feel free to reply to this email; we’re always here to help.
