Meet Chat.com, the Google Killer?

Yesterday, someone tweeted out 8 characters that could change the search landscape forever. That someone was Sam Altman of OpenAI (you know, the company behind ChatGPT). His tweet? "chat.com" ​ That's it. That's the entire tweet! How could this impact search? Well, OpenAI also just released SearchGPT, which appears to be a direct competitor of Google. And now with a much more "consumer friendly" and highly memorable domain, like Chat.com...they are clearly positioning themselves to be a "mass market" search engine...or chat engine if you will. This topic and others deserve a much more in-depth discussion to explain what's going on and how this might impact small publishers.
