Being in blackout period, there are a VERY few reasons to do so. Here is why. Hey , Before the weekend starts, i wanted to give some input of latest Insider Spy findings, that can turn out to great candidate to trade next week. You know, there is blackout period for insiders when they are not allowed to trade, before the earnings release. But some of them still trade. Let's figure out what it can mean for us. I ran the Insider Spy scanner today morning to see if there is anything unusual. Mostly, there is no trades at all, but there were a few yesterday, and one took my attention closer. It's NUVB that already appeared on our scanner, and most of you were able to make $400 on each $1k invested within 6 weeks. Being in pharma space, this company is dedicated on creating the treatments for hard-to-treat cancer. They do have success in medications development already, like BET inhibitor, since they have opened in 2018. Here is the screenshot: The Director Robert Mashal, who joined Nuvation Bio Inc. in January of this year, has just invested $220k of his own cash into his company. This is his first purchase once he was onboarded, and this is during blackout frame. There are a few reasons why insider can buy during blackout, the most common is that he has so called 10b5-1 trading plan, that is the exemption from SEC rules not to trade, allowing both buys and sells. But this plan should be filed to SEC the way BEFORE he can trade within this plan. Sometimes the Board of Directors can approve the insider buy or sell for some of them, in case of financial hardship or someting like that. I don't think that Robert has such a bad financial situation that he decided to get rid of $220k of cash to put into the company's stock and hold it for 6 months. Trading plan? No. Why? 1st-he had to file 10b5-1 to SEC to disclose specific trading plan in details. 2nd-if the buy he just made is exemption and the trade plan is in place-it would be reflected on Form4 in the footnote. That's why Insider Spy is the easiest way to analyze these buys and sells. Here is what it's showing: So it's not a plan, and he bought 100,000 shares yesterday. And it popped up in the software immediately. Today, NUVB is being traded over $2.30, gaining 17% within a single day. Does Robert know something that nobody knows yet, that could push him to place this trade despite of the blackout period? I don't know. But there should be a very good reason to do that to struggle the fear of being investigated by SEC for possible illegal trading. What do we do? I got the small position open today morning at $2.20, have set up NUVB target at $3.08 and stop at $1.81. It's 40% expected return at this point. Looking at the Call options to add up to the position right now, as it can be a great way to bring each $100 to $400 when the target price clicks. Do you want more trades like this? You can do all this analysis and tracking, with my single software-[Insider Spy Pro.]( Get it today and do not miss the opportunity that is about to raise up on Monday.
