What causes your trading mistakes and how you react to them can be a make or break to success. Howev

What causes your trading mistakes and how you react to them can be a make or break to success. However, almost nobody likes to analyze their trading. It is far easier to blame the system, the markets, or just plain bad luck. I spoke to someone who had developed a slick solution to have traders download their trading records and upload them to this service. Then they would, through a combination of an automated algorithm and manual insight, be able to determine weak points, mistakes, risk level errors, behavior issues (jumping out of winners too early, losers too late, etc) and provide a thorough analysis to traders.  It was a complete flop. Nobody purchased the service.  Why? Well, as traders, we just want to get to the action as quickly as possible, and two, we don't want to relive what went wrong for long.  One big area that has a detrimental impact on your profitability are mistakes. There are two types....unintentional and intentional.  Revenge trading is an excellent example of intentional. You go on a trading rampage to try and win back some losses, break all the rules, and dig a far deeper hole. Coach Shane put together a short article and video that talks about mistakes. You get permission to make them on occasion, but also how to correct and even avoid them. One commenter who just went through the video said: "Great advice! Lots of traps and pitfalls in trading. These guys @ NetPicks will save you a ton of misery and money if you listen and heed their advice." [Read the Trading Mistakes Tutorial Here]( [Watch the Trading Mistakes Video Here]( I know it's not nearly as exciting as the latest indicator or hot pick for next week. But, if you dig a bit deeper, reigning in mistakes, looking more critically at your live trading track record, and fine-tuning those areas are going to add to your bottom line faster than most anything else. I challenge you to read the tutorial, watch the video or both. Take 10 minutes, start to adjust some of your trading behaviors and see what it does for the $$ you make. Before you get lured into the next holy-grail trading strategy, take a hard look at what you are already doing and improve those behaviors. Then you can embrace something new after that.  Great Success, Mark Soberman NetPicks   FOR EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; NOT ADVICE.
