The midway point of the year is the perfect time to check in on your reading goals in the NetGalley Reading Journal! Visit your Yearly Goals page—are you on track? What about your Activities section—is there a reading challenge you need to catch up on? To help you achieve your goals, the NetGalley team is here with tips on how we’re meeting ours using the Reading Journal! The beginning of the year is always a tough time for me to start new things—but, with summer approaching I have a list of fun beach reads & listens that I want to keep track of. Luckily the Reading Journal can be used whenever & however you want. I'm going to dive into planning my June, July, and August reads. And I'm definitely going to try to get a Bingo! I love the monthly check-in pages but found that I’ve been terrible at remembering to fill them in at the end of each month when it’s all still fresh in my mind. To help, I now have a calendar reminder set for the first of each month so that I don’t forget! I never say no to a reading challenge, which can get a little overwhelming to track sometimes. I love using the halfway point of the year to check in on my progress and strategize if needed. I’ve already scored two bingos in NetGalley Bingo—and now have an idea of which prompts to work on next to complete the board. The Categories Challenge is one I’d really like to step up and try to read more genres outside of my comfort zone. I’ll be working on finding books that overlap so I can tick off two challenges at once!
