For today, tomorrow, and beyond [National Education Association](   [Education Votes]( Hi {NAME}, It is not the news we hoped and worked for. Donald Trump will be our next president. This stirs up a lot of emotions for many of us. Hurt. Despair. Confusion. But, this much I know is true. This election does not change what we know in our hearts: our students deserve safe and welcoming public schools. They deserve qualified and dedicated educators. They deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential. They will need us now more than ever. Today, they will need us to help them make sense of the world and the results of the election. We will be there for them with an open heart, just like we always are. Tomorrow, they will need us to stop his attempts to defund our schools, pass vouchers, ban books, and separate children from their parents. That future may seem grim, but I need you to know your union is here for you, no matter what. As a union, we know how to stand up for one another and that’s just what we will do. As educators, we also know how to stand up to bullies, and that’s just what we will do. [Pledge your support to mobilize against Trump and prevent him from dismantling public education and hurting our students.]( [Add Your Name ➤]( We will keep you updated with information and actions. Just like we did in Trump’s first term, we will join a mighty coalition of educators, parents, and other public-school supporters who are united and ready to act. We will not stop fighting for our students and for each other.
