How you can support the ESP Bill of Rights campaign today ? Hi {NAME}, I think we can all agree on

How you can support the ESP Bill of Rights campaign today [National Education Association](   [EdAction logo]( Hi {NAME}, I think we can all agree on this: One job should be enough to support your family. Unfortunately, for many Education Support Professionals (ESPs)--bus drivers, school office staff, food service workers, and other vital school staff members—that's not possible. In fact, on average, ESPs are making at least $10,000 below a living wage in all 50 states. I recently appeared on [the School Me podcast]( to talk about how NEA is working with states across the country to secure better pay, working conditions, and more for their ESPs through the NEA ESP Bill of Rights Campaign. It’s a great primer on the mission of this campaign, and I hope you’ll give it a listen and share it with your networks. [Listen: What is the ESP Bill of Rights? ➤]( ESPs are professionals who have dedicated their lives and their careers to helping students, and they are paid with public tax dollars. Yet, one-third of ESPs working full-time in K-12 schools make less than $25,000 per year. Together, we can change that. Maryland, Massachusetts, Illinois, Michigan, Delaware, and Vermont, have all signed on to the NEA ESP Bill of Rights, and your state can, too. We have more information about what ESPs need and how your state can get involved on the ESP Bill of Rights hub on NEA.org. [Get Involved! ➤]( We look forward to working together to advocate for fair pay, good benefits, better working conditions, and respect for all ESPs. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
