A remarkable evening filled with inspiring stories... Greetings! NAF students experience some truly special work-based learning engagements. Last week, students and alumni joined us in New York City to celebrate the incredible power of the NAF network at [NAF's 20th Annual Benefit](. This remarkable evening was filled with inspiring stories, meaningful connections, and powerful reminders of the importance of our mission. As we honored the unwavering commitment of our dedicated partners, KPMG and RTX, we also got to watch with pride as our students stood on stage to share their amazing experiences.  We met King, a student at the Academy of Engineering at Phelps ACE High School in D.C., who wove a beautiful narrative of how he’s working to carry on his family’s legacy in blacksmithing and left us with a powerful quote: "Life is like Blacksmithing. You have to hammer it, and temper it to a fine tool that serves you, not the other way around.” We laughed with Adrianne and Samantha from the Academy of Finance and Enterprise in NYC, who addressed millennial and Gen Z’s distaste for folding laundry with an innovative tool.  We applauded Ognjen, whose experiences at AOFE helped him overcome his fear of public speaking and gain confidence in his ability to network and make connections.   We celebrated Afnan, an AOFE senior, who was named New Yorker of the Week last year after launching a community effort to pair students with senior citizens to brighten their days with greeting cards and personalized connections.  These are just a few examples of the amazing successes of NAF students nationwide, and they wouldn’t be possible without the support of our dedicated partners and donors like you.   Join us today in supporting our remarkable NAF students and their path to BE FUTURE READY.  [Support Our Impact]( Warm regards, Valaida Wynn Guerrero Chief Advancement Officer | [NAF](     [Facebook](  [X](  [Instagram](  [Linkedin](  [Youtube](   [View as Webpage]( COPYRIGHT © 2024. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
