[Shop All Best NEW Fonts]( Hello Monday [Hello Monday]( #21 Hello Monday by Fenotype Hello Monday is a bold and wide vintage-style serif font with a friendly charm and a reminiscence of a warm nostalgic feeling. It is a great typeface for contemporary graphic design with that certain feeling of familiarity. It works well on logos, packaging, restaurant graphics, or any display use, as well as in headlines or shorter text. Try Hello Monday with reduced tracking for tighter word images, or if you want to use it in really small sizes, add some tracking. 1 font for $25 $15 [Shop Hello Monday Now]( [Hello Monday designer]( Let's hear from the Designer. Q1) Where did the idea for the typeface come from? Did you set out to address a specific use or suite of the application? Was this a design you'd had in mind for a while? I started with the vivid memory of a Garfield softcover comic book from my childhood. These comics were characterized by vibrant colors, and the titles were prominently displayed in large white letters using the Cooper Black font, accompanied by black outlines. Inspired by this nostalgic image, I aspired to create a typeface that captured its essence. While I had previously crafted Chunk Black as a direct homage to Cooper Black, this time I wanted to design a more geometric typeface with larger contrast while still preserving the reminiscent charm of those childhood comic book covers. Q2) What should graphic communicators know about the typeface, or how will the family of fonts help them create better designs? Hello Monday strikes with the feeling first. It has the familiarity of typefaces that were popular in the past, from the 60s to the 80s but with modern clean design. In addition, it’s well-equipped with modern OpenType features from Swash Alternates to Discretionary Ligatures and even a set of ornamental shapes. With these features, Hello Monday is effective in creating modern designs with a hint of warm nostalgia. 1 font for $25 $15 [Shop Hello Monday Now]( Gravita [Gravita]( #22 Gravita by TipoType Gravita is a typeface family that conveys security and respect by combining the solidity of its classic proportions with the strict precision of its modern profile drawing. Q1) Where did the idea for the typeface come from? Did you set out to address a specific use or suite of the application? Was this a design you'd had in mind for a while? Loretta Display is a display version of the Loretta typeface designed by Abel Martins and me in Porto, Portugal. We wanted a clean, elegant serif typeface with sharp serifs but keeping it approachable and easy to use. Loretta Display was the answer to the need to use Loretta in bigger sizes and headlines. The design came to life with the wish to create a contemporary serif typeface that we weren’t finding out there. Serif typefaces are my favourite to design! Loretta Display can help brands communicate in headlines that want to be innovative and still bring elegance and friendliness. Q1) Where did the idea for the typeface come from? Did you set out to address a specific use or suite of the application? Was this a design you'd had in mind for a while? Unlike our previous projects, we had a clear vision for Refrankt from the get-go. The idea was to design a type family that would be unmistakably futuristic but nonetheless retain the legibility that is associated with sans serif typefaces. Both the structure of the family and its character ensure that Refrankt is ready to address the challenges of the rapidly developing digital world. We think Refrankt is an excellent choice for projects that that require a typeface with contemporary aesthetics and functional design. Q2) What should graphic communicators know about the typeface, or how will the family of fonts help them create better designs? We believe designers will be pleasantly surprised by the versatility of Refrankt. The lighter weights feature minimal contrast and have an almost monolinear feel, while the bolder styles are more robust and distinctive. This range of styles is further expanded with the inclusion of a variable font that allows designers to fine-tune their designs and easily create complex typographic systems. Additionally, Refrankt supports multiple OpenType features that can be an invaluable tool for designers who value uniqueness and creativity. 19 fonts for $200 $120 [Shop Refrankt Now]( Rovela [Rovela]( #25 Rovela by Larin Type Co Rovela is an elegant, modern, and contrast Sans Serif font family. Q1) Where did the idea for the typeface come from? Did you set out to address a specific use or suite of the application? Was this a design you'd had in mind for a while? The idea of the font itself appeared spontaneously., When creating it, I was inspired by the fashion industry and small details that emphasize and create a complete picture of the designer's idea. It was based on a high-contrast sans-serif font with some elements of modern antiques in four headsets (light, regular, medium, bold), with fancy and elegant letter shapes and interlacing letters.
