[Healthcare ad agency Hammond & Thackeray collapse leaves publishers out of pocket](
One of the major media agencies of the healthcare industry, Hammond & Thackeray, has gone into liquidation with creditors including major publishers and agencies expected to be $4.4 million out of pocket.
The 35-year-old agency which also serviced agricultural clients from its Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland offices, was wound up by its directors on December 22. Parent company the Healthy Thinking Group is not affected by the decision.

[Streaming service Stan in its first ad watchdog defeat over language in SMILF trailer](
TV streaming service Stan has had its ad for US comedy SMILF banned by the ad watchdog over use of the term âfull frontal, dick and peenâ.
The ruling is the first time a complaint against Stan has been upheld by the Ad Standards Board.

[Mumbrella CommsCon Awards entries close today](
Entry to the 2018 Mumbrella CommsCon Awards close today, January 12. This year there are 28 categories across campaigns, people and business including small, mid-size and large PR agency of the year, PR leader of the year and best B2B and B2C campaign.
Last yearâs CommsCon Awards was a sold-out success. There were over 300 award entries judged by more than 70 industry experts. The awards ceremony itself saw over 400 people in attendance.

['Design mistake' becomes the lead of latest Vision Direct campaign](
A design and production mistake, which saw the words âCHANGE THISâ go to print on promotional boxes, has become the basis of a campaign for online optical retailer Vision Direct.
âDue to an oversight by one of the designers, the placeholder: âChange thisâ text where the discount code was supposed to go, wasnât edited. This resulted in 10,000 boxes being printed with the copy error included,â the company claimed in a release.
