The Colt Serial Number look up shows 1988. This Single Action Storekeepers Model is fitted with a 4 inch 2-line address barrel, smooth 2-piece wood grips with gold Colt medallions, no ejector rod housing/ejector was fitted, completely high polish blue finished, unique serial numbered (144SE4), and chambered in .45 Long Colt. The gun is as new/unfired and I cannot see a drag line but you can see in the pictures if there is one on the cylinder. Comes with a Colt box, which is numbered to the gun. All paperwork is visible in the pictures The gun is exactly as you see it This is a New Gun or As New in Box or whatever. This is a guess. The gun was purchased, never fired. Maybe fondled some, but again. Does not appear to have had the hammer back or the cylinder turned. It is exactly as you see it. It has not had the cylinder turned or the hammer back. We think the estate had this particular piece for a possession then went to inventory. Box shows some wear to edges and hinges.
