--------------------------------------------------------------- Pro Tour Modern Horizons 3 Top 8 Dec

[MTGGoldfish][Magic Newsletter] [width="1"] --------------------------------------------------------------- Assassin's Creed Previews --------------------------------------------------------------- Familiar#paper Swan#paper House+of+Horror:Foil/Enduring+Tenacity-showcase+japan+-+fracture+foil#paper House+of+Horror:Foil/The+Wandering+Rescuer-showcase+double+exposure+-+textured+foil#paper House+of+Horror/Doomsday+Excruciator-borderless#paper House+of+Horror:Foil/Twitching+Doll-buy-a-box#paper MagicCon: Amsterdam / Pro Tour Modern Horizons 3 gave us a preview panel featuring a ton of new cards from the three upcoming sets, Bloomburrow, Duskmourn, and Foundations! You can check them all out at www.mtgpreviews.com: - [Foundations, Bloomburrow, Duskmourn Spoilers — June 28]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Pro Tour Modern Horizons 3 Top 8 Decklists --------------------------------------------------------------- 5 Nadu, 2 Mono-Black Necro, and Jeskai Control make up the Top 8 of Pro Tour Modern Horizons 3.[Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Finance Update w/ Saffron Olive --------------------------------------------------------------- [Trinisphere]( [Wish](in+the+Forgotten+Realms/Wish#paper) [Umbral Mantle](Mantle#paper) This week in Magic finance we're still seeing the multiverse adjust to Modern Horizons 3. The biggest winner this week was [Trinisphere (Fallout Vault Boy)](Lair/Trinisphere-Fallout+Vault+Boy#paper), with the infamous lock piece shooting up 215% to $50. Ever since the banning of [Simian Spirit Guide](Spiral+Remastered/Simian+Spirit+Guide#paper), Modern has lacked a way to play lock pieces quickly, but this changed with the printing of [Ugin's Labyrinth](Horizons+3/Ugins+Labyrinth#paper) which makes it easy to slam a [[Trinisphere] on turn two. Toss in the increasing popularity of various Eldrazi and Tron decks and it seems like [Trinisphere (Fallout Vault Boy)](Lair/Trinisphere-Fallout+Vault+Boy#paper) is back. If you need some copies, the Universes Beyond Fallout printing is still under $30, half the price of the Darksteel version. Speaking of Modern, [Wish (extended)](in+the+Forgotten+Realms/Wish-extended#paper) jumped 172% to $9 this week after being adopted as a four-of in Ruby Storm as a way to find finishers out of the sideboard. With this price jump, [Wish (extended)](in+the+Forgotten+Realms/Wish-extended#paper) is now the second most expensive card in Adventure in the Forgotten Realms behind [Old Gnawbone](List/Old+Gnawbone#paper). The card sees fringe play in some other decks like Belcher and Twiddle Storm which is nice, although literally not working at all in Commander limits its ceiling. I'd be surprised to see it go much higher. Finally in Commander, [Umbral Mantle](Booster/Umbral+Mantle#paper) is on the rise with the uncommon shooting up 184% to $35 thanks to its ability to combo with [Nadu, Winged Wisdom](Horizons+3/Nadu+Winged+Wisdom#paper) as a zero equip-cost equipment. I'd look to sell any extra copies into the hype - while there is demand for the card, the biggest reason for the current price is the lack of supply since the card is over 15 years old and has never really been reprinted - sooner or later it will show up in a Commander precon or Masters set and it will crash back down around $5. --------------------------------------------------------------- The Worst Artifacts in the History of Magic: the Gathering --------------------------------------------------------------- Artifact might be the most powerful card type in Magic, but not all artifacts are great, in fact some are hilariously bad, and those artifacts are our focus today![Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Podcast 490: Control is Back in Modern --------------------------------------------------------------- The crew talks a lackluster B&R update, Assassin's Creed and the state of Modern with a Pro Tour on the horizon next weekend![Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Single Scoop: Give Into the Crab Demons (Crabfinnity) --------------------------------------------------------------- We're down with our crab demon! Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
