Hi {NAME} Welcome to MSP Friday Flywheel, my weekly email to get your marketing wheel turning and make it go faster. Paul's musings: Get up at 5am to Get Things Done For a decade, I got up 5am every weekday to work ON my business. I could spend 90 minutes on activities that grew the business, with no fear of interruptions from family, clients or staff. You feel AMAZING at 9am when you know you've already done the most important work of the day. Now I spend 80% of my time working ON my business, so I don't need to get up so early (although I do some days for running). 5am might be too early for you... but the concept of building every day around finding and protecting 90 mins to work ON your MSP is a very sound one. 5am is easy as everyone else is in bed. 7am in your office before your staff arrive would work too. Maybe you're a night owl so 8pm locked in your home office would do it. Whenever you do it, make it the same time each weekday and make sure you can't be distracted by texts, Teams, or your PSA. For 90 mins, you don't exist! Hit reply and tell me what time would work for you. Last week I chatted to 12 MSPs who replied. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
