Hi {NAME} Welcome to MSP Friday Flywheel, my email to get your marketing wheel turning and make it go faster. Paul's musings: I declare it to be MSP Net Profit Friday Seems like every day is some kind of special day, somewhere. Isn't today World Salmon Day, or something? That sounds fishy. So instead I've declared today to be MSP Net Profit Friday. Net profit is the goal. As the business owner, it's the money that's yours after you take all the revenue and deduct all the costs. There's nothing wrong with making a good net profit from your MSP. Why? Because it's a measure of the health of your business. A good profit means you can buy in more tools to better service your clients. You can pay your staff more. You can take more personal income and delight your family with a trip to Disney. Your business is efficient. Whereas no profit is miserable. Unless you're in the first few years or you're in a deliberate "reinvest to grow" mode, no profit shows your business is inefficient. There are many ways to increase net profit. Increase prices. Sell more to your existing clients. Win new clients. Reduce costs. First port of call is your accountant with this question: "How does our net profit compare to other MSPs?". If their answer is "no idea, but you're not as profitable as that flower shop we look after," then you need a new accountant. I have an MSP-specific accountant I can recommend here in the UK. If you know of one in the US, please hit reply and let me know. From the web: LinkedIn verification for company pages It's always worth doing verification on social media. There's bound to be an algorithmic benefit, but also it helps you to build trust. You can now do this for your personal account (which is where you should be focusing all your LinkedIn efforts) and also the [company account]( From my archive: How to increase Monthly Recurring Revenue from existing clients The easiest way to increase your turnover and net profits is by generating more income from your existing clients.
