These are our absolute favourite emails to send. Thousands of Mozilla activists signed our petition in May calling on Slack to offer basic safety features. And with your support, we brought your demands directly to Slack HQ with our partners at Fight for the Future. Thanks to you, Slack is taking an important step forward to protect people from harassment on its platform. The company announced it would soon introduce a feature that allows users to “hide messages from another member,” giving people the ability to protect themselves from harassment. It's not everything we asked for in our petition – we also want Slack to offer end-to-end encryption. Yet this is a significant milestone and worth celebrating as we work towards a full victory. Mozilla is a non-profit organisation, and one of our core priorities is to protect peoples' privacy and security on the Internet. Our community of supporters – like you! – help make all of our work possible. Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
