Wade, handing a major victory to Republicans and throwing our nation into chaos as women, girls, trans, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming people lost their bodily autonomy.    Alito not only went on this lavish vacation but was flown on a private jet to Alaska, a flight that would've otherwise cost him $100,000. According to several legal experts, Alito appears to have violated a federal law that requires federal judges to disclose most gifts. Moreover, these experts stated they "could not identify [another] instance of a justice ruling on a case after receiving an expensive gift paid for by one of the parties."2 Sound familiar? This news comes a little over a month after ProPublica released a damning report detailing how Justice Clarence Thomas spent more than two decades accepting lavish gifts from another Republican megadonor—and never disclosed any of it. Both of these reports come at a time when the legitimacy of the extremist-packed court is under increased scrutiny for its obvious disregard for the law in favor of a right-wing political agenda. With this latest revelation, MoveOn is ready to double down in our efforts to impeach Justices Alito and Thomas, remove them from the bench immediately, and call on Congress to pass measures to reform the court, including creating ethics requirements, setting term limits, and even expanding the court. In order to protect our communities, freedoms, and collective future, it's critical that we fight back against this unprecedented level of corruption. It's been clear to us for years now that this court has committed itself to legislating the GOP's extremist agenda from the bench rather than making unbiased decisions and rulings based on facts. Justices Alito and Thomas have repeatedly shown their contempt for the law—yet are still allowed to rule on cases where they knew they should have recused themselves.
