This morning, the futures market is taking off after some big US banks like Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, and Blackrock reported earnings that were better than expected. JPMorgan Chase is doing especially well - it's up by 6% in premarket. Wells Fargo is up 4%. The banks seem to be doing a good job of weathering the storm at this stage. Today, we are anticipating the retail sales numbers, and we hope to see another economic report that falls within the goldilocks zone for two consecutive Fridays. We must keep in mind that the narrative around interest rate hikes and recession is once again shifting, and the US markets may be disconnected from the underlying economy. As a result, it's important to be cautious not to trade the economy but to follow the market. Currently, the market is in an upward trend, and we could see it reach 4200 or even 4300 before this trend ends. Today's special morning show will cover the impending recession and how to trade it.
