Hereâs how they rate⦠Published By Money & Markets, LLC. July 06, 2024 Published By Money & Markets, LLC. July 06, 2024 [Turn Your Images On] 3 Big Stock Price Swings in a Short Week Editor's Note: Every week, you watch stocks from industries across the board pop (or drop), but you may wonder if it's time to buy in. That's what today's Money & Markets Daily is all about. We'll show you some of the week's biggest movers and then run them through Adam O'Dell's proprietary Green Zone Power Ratings to see how they stack up. - Newegg Commerce Inc. (Nasdaq: NEGG): Are investors chasing tech gains wherever they can find them? Shares of this online retailer known for its wide selection of computer hardware and consumer electronics popped more than 20% this week, but there's a major issue. The stock that rates ["High-Risk"]( in Green Zone Power Ratings is down almost 10% in 2024 (even after this week's gain), and the Nasdaq warned Newegg its stock could be delisted for not complying with listing rules. NEGG’s closing price, at the time of the notice, was below $1 per share for 30 consecutive business days. - Xpeng Inc. (NYSE: XPEV): Shares of the Chinese electric vehicle maker fell 9% on Friday, despite the company reporting it delivered 10,688 units in June, a 24% increase from the same month last year. The problem? It's facing stiff competition in its home country from the likes of Li Auto and Nio. The ["High-Risk"]( stock has lost 46% year to date. - Macy's Inc. (NYSE: M): Not to be outshone by its annual Fourth of July fireworks show in New York the previous night, Macy's shares jumped almost 10% higher when trading resumed on the NYSE Friday morning. Why? Arkhouse Management and Brigade Capital Management upped their takeover bid from $24 per share to $24.80 per share (roughly $6.9 billion total). The stock still rates ["Bearish"]( due in part to volatile trading throughout 2024. â The Money & Markets team --------------------------------------------------------------- Top Research From the Last Week [Turn Your Images On]( [This âDark Horseâ Candidate
