In order to bring "a more fair and fun PvP environment", some significant changes are planned for crowd control effects. Prestige Levels are currently earned through participation in PvP activities in Legion. For example, if a player has five characters at Prestige Level 2, in BfA, the player's account will be Prestige Level 10. This provides a number of benefits including mounts, pets & toys.
