Add your name to our petition and protect reproductive freedom in Michigan You are receiving this email because you've previously supported Debbie Stabenow and the Michigan Victory Fund. To opt-out of future emails please click [unsubscribe]( . Friend, Two years ago today, the Supreme Court reversed nearly 50 years of precedent by overturning Roe v. Wade, ending the federal guarantee of reproductive freedom in the United States. Since then, 21 states have imposed some sort of abortion ban, and many, many others have imposed some form of restriction. But Republicans aren’t done yet. Democrats are committed to preserving reproductive freedom in states like Michigan and rebuilding access in states where women’s freedoms have been taken away. [If you stand with Democrats in ensuring reproductive freedom, add your name here!]( [ADD YOUR NAME]( When the Supreme Court overturned Roe two years ago, Republicans claimed the ruling was about giving power back to the states. We now know that was a lie. If Republicans win back Congress, they’re already promising to sign a national abortion ban into law. And if Donald Trump becomes President, he will gladly sign the ban into law because he is already bragging that his Supreme Court nominees are the reason Roe v. Wade was overturned in the first place. Such a ban would even impact states like Michigan, where reproductive freedom is enshrined in our Constitution. While Republicans fight to take our rights away, President Biden and the Democrats have been hard at work to protect access to contraceptives and IVF. Republicans have blocked those efforts. That’s why it is so important to reaffirm our commitment to fight today. [So, friend, on this somber anniversary, can you add your name to our petition and show your support for reproductive rights?]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( With gratitude, Debbie --------------------------------------------------------------- Paid for by the Michigan Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee authorized by Great Lakes PAC and the Michigan Democratic State Central Committee Contributions or gifts to Michigan Victory Fund are not tax deductible.
