We are excited to announce two additional star-studded performances in our groundbreaking Met Stars Live in Concert series next month. We are excited to announce two additional star-studded performances in our groundbreaking Met Stars Live in Concert series next month. On Saturday, May 8, sopranos Christine Goerke and Elza van den Heever, tenor Andreas Schager, and baritone Michael Volle will perform a soaring program of music by Wagner and Strauss, live from the Hessisches Staatstheater in Wiesbaden, Germany. Then, sopranos Ailyn Pérez and Nadine Sierra join forces with mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard at France’s Royal Opera of Versailles for a live concert of favorite arias on Saturday, May 22. Both concerts will be streamed live at 1PM ET and will remain available for on-demand viewing for two weeks. Tickets are $20. Please note: The previously scheduled performance featuring soprano Angel Blue has been canceled. Tickets already purchased for that concert will now be valid for the May 8 performance and for the 14-day on-demand period.
