Also on this day, exactly 5 years later in 1932, Amelia Earhart landed in Northern Ireland, becoming the 1st transatlantic solo flight by a woman. Isnât me stumbling upon this random fact some sort of sign? A sign that we should finally just book a flight somewhere?! How about a [Mystery Flight to Paradise (circa 1950)](? Or a weekend in Honolulu via [the Long Lost World of the Luxury Flying Boat](? And for kicks, letâs reminisce over [Airplanes that had Piano Bars, Cocktail Lounges, Pubs, and Restaurants](. But what if you booked a flight to Paris? As you mightâve heard, the city has started to reopen. Weâve got a new [Spring & Summer events guide]( to tempt you over, and as always, donât forget to [pack your closest companion](. Not ready to travel overseas just yet? Take a virtual weekend stroll with me through Paris instead. If you missed our Keyholder walk on Wednesday as the cityâs terraces re-opened, you can [re-watch it here in the Keyholder Video Archive](. Oh and one last thing. This week, I introduced a new little series for the gram, something Iâm calling â[My Husband Fixing Things](â. Pretty sure itâs going to break the internet. Cheers to the weekend. Stay curious!
