Except, not quite. In my home city of [Philadelphia]( we’re still hanging around the humid mid-60s. Despite the leftover summer heat, I’m mainly reaching for [bourbons]( and [ryes]( (or a combination of both, mentioned below) with a slightly higher-than-normal proof to prepare my palate for the chilly months ahead.
