a love letter from your higher self ✨💓

There's so much I have to tell you...about you.  Hey {NAME}, It’s your Higher Self here. I’m used to communicating with you through gut feelings and intuition, but an email? How 21st century of me! I wanted to drop you a line because it’s Valentine’s Day today and I have a few things to say to you. Also, in case you’re all like, "What’s a Higher Self?" (I know, it may have been awhile since we last chatted!), then allow me to explain… Basically, I’m part of you, {NAME}. And because you’re such a multifaceted human, you actually have many parts that make up who you are. There’s your Inner Child and your Ego Self, too -- often the parts of you that want to prove your worth, that resist change, and that strive to get approval from others. They might not sound like a whole lot of fun to hang out with, but your Inner Child and Ego Self are some of my dearest friends. They’re important guides on your journey of self love and discovery, too. But then there’s also me, your Higher Self. *wink* I don’t mean to sound arrogant, but I’m the wise one of the bunch. I’m the part of you that always knows the aligned way forward...for you. I’m the one that shows you what it feels like to be free from your old programming, to surrender to life (instead of trying to control it), and to live with love instead of fear. When you and I have a deep relationship, your life feels like utter freedom. This freedom affects everything else you experience… ...Your business begins to feel more fun and effortless. ...Your relationships seem to flow with more love. ...And you understand how to trust life, knowing that things are working out for you, even when you can’t always see the full path. Whether you’re single, in a relationship, or in that confusing limbo of "What are we exactly?!", I’m here to tell you that the relationship you have with me, your Highest Self, is the most important of them all. But just like any relationship, it takes a bit of work to create a connection with me. Here are some signs that you’d benefit from building a deeper bond with me... - You’re following the "proven path" instead of Your Path. You’ve convinced yourself that there’s a right way to do things, instead of allowing yourself to figure out Your Way. - You’re feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, burnt out, or unfulfilled with the work you’re doing in the world. - You approach life with control instead of trust. This can show up as having the perfect vision for your business, and then feeling deflated if the vision takes longer than you were expecting or turns out differently. It can also mean that in order to regain a sense of control, you turn to distractions, like Netflix, scrolling, or screaming at the ones you love. - You don’t feel like you have people in your life who fully get you. And deep down, you’re not sure if you fully get yourself. Can you feel how much pressure all of that is? How confining it feels to shapeshift yourself into who you think you have to be?
