I've been a part of challenges that have been fun. That have me excited to want to work with the creator or switch things up. As a creator, challenges have a whole bunch of moving parts but the difficulty isn’t the tech or managing everything. The difficulty is this delicate balance between knowing what to share without giving it all away...or sounding like you're purposely holding back. Most challenges are informative. They talk about how-tos and tips and step-by-steps. But that isn’t the way you want to do it. Informative content doesn’t get people jumping to work with you. It doesn't serve your ideal customer or client as well. Informative challenges often result in guilt. Guilt when the emails and worksheets keep hitting your ideal client/customer's inbox. There's so much information to take in and you’re on day 12 when they haven’t even moved past day 5. This is a common occurrence whether you run 7, 10 or 30 day challenges. The drop-off rate rate is huge. Same thing goes when you fill your editorial calendar... When you plan your pre-launches... When you plan out your welcome email series... You want to tone down the information or eradicate it completely. I’ve crafted entire sequences for myself and for clients without a shred of informative content. If you think you've been doing too much "how to" and really want to move away from doing so, you need a fundamental shift in your nurture marketing strategy. The magic happens when you know what moves people. You want get into the why (their reasons, beliefs and needs), and the what (your framework, their objections or transformation), but leave much of the how to your paid products and services. This way, you can reverse engineer what needs to be said (yes - even if it's for a challenge!) so that you're not veering off into the how-to or tips or information zone. Do you resonate with creating too much how-to content? What trips you up the most about it? Hit reply and let me know! Meera [Unsubscribe]( | [Update your profile]( | CLOVER AVENUE, CLOVER PARK , SG, SG 579334
