Last week, an unsourced list of names of cabinet ministers set to be moved by President Cyril Ramaphosa appeared on social media, with the "Big Three" -- Health Minister Zweli Mkhize, Police Minister Bheki Cele and Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma -- among those [named for removal from office](. Allegations of corruption, corporate espionage and the peddling of trade secrets are at the centre of a fight over a R6-billion workers' pension fund. The battle over the retirement fund for the Chemical, Energy, Paper, Printing, Wood and Allied Workers Union is being waged between the fund administrator, NBC Holdings, and the alleged usurpers, Akani Holdings. Oliver Meth reports that this fight will be [death by a million paper cuts]( especially for workers. In Snake Park, Soweto, residents say it is the abandoned mine and the health problems it brings that has left them exposed to the ravages of Covid-19. For decades residents have lived with the mine, which blows dust containing heavy metals and chemicals into their homes. Snake Park, formally known as Doornkop, is in the sub-district with the highest number of Covid-19 infections in Gauteng. On October 29 1985, Oliver Tambo gave a speech at Chatham House in London. In it, he urged a reluctant British government to support the fight against apartheid -- and expertly dissects the hypocrisy in not doing so. For decades, the speech was buried in the Chatham House archives.
