Passing the ADA paved the way to building a society where everyone has the power to live independently. That work continues today, thanks to communities like the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). [{NAME}, I hope you’ll celebrate National Disability Independence Day with a gift to MDA.]( One of our most important goals is to show the kids and young adults we serve that an independent future is possible. MDA Summer Camp is where that happens. Here, every activity our campers participate in reinforces the life-changing lesson: [You can do anything you set your mind to!]( [Building STEM kits empowers our future engineers and architects to understand how things work - Give $30 to Provide a STEM Kit for 1 Camper ]( These camp activities, and so many others, plant the seed of confidence in our campers’ hearts and minds. “If I can succeed at this,” they think, “I can succeed at anything!” And that includes living independently.
