Trying to get all of it in isn't easy, there are steak and bourbon dinners to eat, beach time to read, All-Star baseball to watch, fireworks shows to see, and - most importantly - lots of time to spend with the world's most beautiful Granddaughter. We're moving into the long-haul of summer. Another earnings season is fast-approaching, the trade war has cooled off for the moment, and we don't have another short market week until Labor Day. So, with that in mind, we have a lot of work to do, and investment opportunities to consider. Today, I'm going bring you this week's scorecard, highlighting one of my more recent picks from my elite trading service, [Heatseekers](, and another pick that should bring back some memories of holiday picnics past from my colleague Chris Johnson over at [Night Trader](. Record Date Investment Type Record Price Current Close Total Return 2/11/2019 Energy Services $16.87 $20.17 19.56% Before I suggest a stock to my members at [Heatseekers](, I want it to be a company that will do well even without beneficial bounces of fortune, but when things do break our way, you'll see tremendous gains. This company is in the fracking business. More importantly, they are a fracking company with operations in the Permian Basin. That region holds over 50 billion barrels of oil and is the largest such field in the U.S. and second-largest in the world. Back in January, the Energy Information Agency's (EIA) projected that U.S. crude oil production will continue to grow through 2030, and then plateau at more than 14 million barrels per day until 2040. They also suggest that output from the lower 49 states will drive production, and the Permian Basin is what drives the lower 48. They are going to drill, baby, drill in the Permian for a long time, and this portfolio member is going to see high demand for its services for decades. Since entering this position in February, mysterious explosions of oil tankers in the Middle East, as well as the refinery in Philadelphia have helped the sector overcome some trade instability in mid-May. On top of that, driving season has hit full-swing, pushing this stock towards a 20% gain in recent weeks. To find out more about this trade and my Heatseekers service, [click here](. Record Date Investment Type Record Price Current Close Total Return 4/09/2019 Packaged Foods $13.41 $14.66 9.32% How often is it that a spreadsheet or database can throw you instantly into childhood memories and make you forget you're looking at a bunch of numbers and trading? Well, our favorite quant, Chris Johnson, had one of those moments in the late hours this past April while finding opportunities for his [Night Trader]( readers. After struggling for a few quarters, the company has been doing well - along with many other American-based food companies - as earnings and other fundamentals have been strengthening and looking bullish in general. This was an excellent earnings play for Chris that has made a solid gain of 9.32% since April. To learn how to receive Night Trader profit opportunity alerts, like this trade and others, or see how he recommended a record-breaking 23 winning trades over 52 days, totaling a massive 1,033.07%... all while the markets were in an all-out tailspin, [click here](. To the Max, Tim Melvin --------------------------------------------------------------- [This Man Used to Be a Forklift Driver - Now, He's Making MILLIONS]( While Tom Gentile was working as a forklift driver at Home Depot (and making about $8,000 a year), he taught himself how to trade in his parents' basement. And he had such a knack for it, he used his winnings to show other folks exactly how they could make their dreams reality, just as he did.
