I was proud to lead the fight against this sickening transphobia. Not only did I speak out, I also stood up for our LGBTQ+ communities by reintroducing the Equality Act last week. This monumental legislation is critical to the rights and dignity of LGBTQ+ people. I was proud to stand up for our LGBTQ+ community and I will continue to do so at every turn. --------------------------------------------------------------- Inflation Reduction Act Thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act that we passed last August, 43 prescription drugs will become more affordable for Americans on Medicare Part B beginning next month. I was proud to work with my fellow House Democrats to lower costs for you and your family. --------------------------------------------------------------- Riverside infrastructure funding I was thrilled to announce that $15 million in funding is headed to Riverside, California to improve our rail infrastructure. This funding will ensure a safer and more efficient transportation network for the residents and businesses of Riverside.
