[image]( [image] This Week in the Market Most stocks were able to move higher yet again last week, with the Dow and S&P 500 setting all-time highs. As we start a new week, the major indexes are a tad extended from their 50-day moving averages, but that might not be enough to slow down buyers. The Russell 2000 is sitting on top of its 50-day moving average. A bullish to non-bearish bias still makes sense as far as the overall market is concerned. Implied volatility levels continue to drift lower as you might imagine with stocks moving higher. In addition, IV skews not based on an earnings event have been hard to find. Quarterly earnings are starting to kick into high gear this week as several companies are expected to announce. Many eyes are glued to NFLX, which is expected to deliver its numbers after Tuesday’s close. The next Federal Reserve meeting is still over a week away and economic reports are relatively slow this week. In fact, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are without a single significant report. Make sure you are cognizant and check for the expected earnings date from a reliable source before taking any trade. Have a healthy and prosperous week!
