[image]() [image] This Week in the Market The three major indexes were all able to post gains for the week, with the Dow and S&P 500 each setting another record high. Despite several Federal Reserve talks and economic number releases, stocks kept climbing higher. As has been the case, a bullish to non-bearish outlook on the market makes sense based on the resiliency of stocks. With the ongoing move higher, implied volatility and option prices continued to grind lower but did spike higher at the close Friday. Is a drop imminent? We will know shortly. It is a slower week as far as economic numbers go, but the September jobs report is due out before the market opens Friday. As far as Fed speakers go, at least one is scheduled to talk every day with Fed Chair Jerome Powell scheduled for Monday afternoon. More will be vetted this week. MRNA – The stock has come down to a potential double-bottom support level set last November. Look for potential bull call and directional call calendars with a bullish reversal. AAPL – The stock continues to bounce around in a very tight range. Calendars and short iron condors will be explored once again. [image]() The strategies in this newsletter are for educational and informative purposes only.
