... just checking in, for real Greetings {NAME}! How was your Holiday Season? Are you back in your full flow and rhythm of work now? How are you feeling about 2024? I imagine you might've set intentions, goals or resolutions by now, right? Or, maybe a one-, two- or three- word theme for the year? In all transparency, for about 14 years in a row, I would always pick a one-word theme for the year. And, of course, like most people, I set intentions and goals, too. But, this year feels different. I'm not feeling drawn to set a one-word theme. Honing in on mega goals and intentions is not coming to me. Yet. Here's the interesting thing: there is a profound reason why the vast majority of people fail at keeping their New Year's Resolutions. According to The Human Design System, the new beginning of each year doesn't initiate until January 22nd. The first few weeks of January can be fraught with tension and cause a great deal of disappointment, frustration, and bitterness. We push ourselves hard to accomplish a new habit, new goal, new commitment. Yet we are basically 'pushing upstream.' So, if you're feeling any resistance at all right now - just know that you're not alone!! Take a breath, take a pause. Go easy on yourself. Consider waiting until later this month to really 'get going' on all your big new plans and goals! [Human Design New Year - 1.22.2024] This is the Human Design Mandala with only Gate 41 colored in showing the position of the sun starting on January 22nd, 2024 at 05:17 PT / 08:17 ET / 13:17 GMT. (There are 13 'positions' including all the planets in our solar system, the sun, earth, moon, and the nodes of the moon). My passion project for going on four years now is professional studies of The Human Design System. It's a profound body of work that blends astrology, the I'Ching, quantum physics, genetics, biochemistry and more. There is an application on both a personal/spiritual basis as well as for business. I'm studying both aspects. Understanding even the very basics of Human Design can be transformational in how you function in your daily life, at work, and in all your relationships. I'm excited to start weaving aspects of this system into my social media marketing work. On that note, I do have a special invitation for you if it feels right for you ... Can I mentor you?
