It’s my birthday week, bitches 😜😜😜. December 7th to be exact. But the reality is… I’m one of those people who celebrates All 👏 Damn 👏 Month 👏 Now here’s something you may not know about me. Generally, I’m pretty laid back. Friends have shared I’m understanding. Gracious. Forgiving, some might say. HOWEVER… I do have a red line with my closest humans about this sacred December day. Frankly, I’ve threatened both Josh and my BFF Kris on separate occasions, because they both had prior offenses. In earlier years, they’ve made the fatal mistake of putting dumb, inconsequential things in their calendar on December 7th. Things like ‘filming a movie’ or ‘getting teeth cleaned’ or ‘shooting content’. Seriously!?! What the actual F?!?!? They left me no choice other than to set a clear boundary: “Moving forward, if you work, schedule appointments, or are otherwise ‘busy’ with some bullshit on my birthday — THIS ONE HOLY DAY OF THE YEAR — you’ll be dead to me. Sure, I’ll smile politely and pretend I still care. But instead of the warmth of my eternal love and loyalty, you’ll get the chill of my icy heart. 🥶 TOTALLY UP TO YOU! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️” Life lesson, kids? Threats work. Because they’ll both be dancing with me (and like 40 other awesome humans!) later this week to celebrate my big day 🧁 and spark an AVALANCHE of magic, abundance, and good times for the year ahead. 🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️ [Marie dancing like she will be later this week!] Because that’s exactly what dance DOES ✨✨✨✨ It’s goddamn MAGIC!!! Not only is [dance an evidence-based tool that treats depression]( (yes, it’s #1 above EVERYTHING else, including SSRIs!)... [Research shows that dance ranks #1 in treating depression.] But it’s also miraculous for unlocking massive creativity, passion, energy, and intuition. It’s also why dance is such a big, beautiful part of [Dream Club – my wealth and happiness building experience that opens back up on December 30th](. So if you want to dance and grow with me next year, be sure to click on that link ☝️. Look, {NAME}.... Life’s too short and too hard not to make GOOD TIMES non-negotiable. Hard things, challenging things, disappointing things will continue to happen. That’s part of the human deal. But that’s also why we must be insistent on creating pockets of joy, wonder, and celebration 🥳 anywhere we can. Beaming BIG love your way 💖 XO M P.S.
