I need to get my a$$ in the Tyrrhenian Sea… 😩😩😩” I can’t tell you how many times that thought darted through my mental theater over the past eight weeks. Now typically, I’m ON IT when it comes to vacation planning. Anywhere between six and nine months prior, I gleefully dive into bottomless travel rabbit holes. Then, I organize dream itineraries in a Google doc. Finally, I’ll make coffee and do little presentations for Josh with all kinds of adventure-filled options for us to choose from. But this year — NOPE. Between finishing our home reno, moving back in, and getting [Dream Club launched]( The past six months whizzed by so damn fast, I almost forgot that time in the cool, deep cobalt waters off the coast of Italy 🇮🇹 is OXYGEN to my soul! (See below 👇 me in one of my happiest places.) [Me in one of my happiest places.]( So what did I do? I started scrambling! “I can figure this out! Maybe we can do a quick zip around the western coast of Sicily. Or, how about a little casual island hopping off Naples?! Or a dip in the sea and then time in the countryside?!?!” After many, many, many (did I say many?) hours online researching hidden gem hotels and off-the-beaten-track beaches in search of a last-minute-but-still-badass agenda, I felt like this… [I felt like this…]( MAMA MIA. 🤌🤌🤌🤌 Most of the super sexy places are already booked (of course!). Like you, {NAME} — I’m also conscious of how we spend our money and vacation time. So I didn’t want to burn cash on crazy suites or settle for places I wasn’t jazzed about because I was a noodlehead and waited till the last minute. 🤦🤦🤦 Then, I remembered a smart concept my friend Dean Jackson talks about. Rather than always trying to do everything yourself in life, start asking WHO, not how. In other words… Rather than asking yourself how something can get done, ask yourself who can help get it done. Who has knowledge, experience, and skills that YOU don’t have? Who can you talk with, collab with, or somehow work with to go further, faster and with more joy? For instance… - It would take me hours (if not days!) to figure out how to unclog my bathroom sink. But a plumber can get it done in 15 minutes or less. ✅ - Editing my own videos? Watch me cry and blow snot bubbles. 😫😫😫 But my in-house video editor can turn things around so fast it makes my head spin. ✅ So thankfully, I emailed my SUPER creative friend Bianca, [founder of The Italian Fix,]( and got her take. She helped me simplify, clarify, and pick THE best spots in Italy for what I’ve been craving. Then, faster than you can say “bada bing, bada boom 💥” my SIMPLE and oh-so-perfect trip back to my ancestral homeland was booked. Nourishing relationships with loving, smart, creative people is what life’s all about. You help them. They help you. That’s la dolce vita, if you ask me. Before I let you go, remember this: - When in doubt, you CAN FIGURE IT OUT (#EverythingIsFigureoutable). And take it from Dean — sometimes you just gotta ask “who” not “how.” - Feel like you want more "whos" in your life? If you want me, my pals, and my team as part of your crew, [join us in Dream Club](. It’s a club about creativity and dream-making where we’re all devoted to helping each other win. Thanks for being an MF Insider, {NAME}. ❤️ I’ll be back next week with a brand-new episode of MarieTV and The Marie Forleo podcast! Tanti baci, 😘 Xoxo M. P.S. This Thursday afternoon, I’m doing a live virtual workshop called “The Mid-Year Reset” — [inside our Dream Club coaching and community app](. Don’t worry if you’re busy at that time, because members get replays on demand. 🙌   If you wish to stop receiving our emails or change your subscription, you can [update your preferences]( or [unsubscribe here]( or you can email your request to info@marieforleo.com.
