Hi {NAME}- Three weeks ago, Tarrant County Judge Tim O'Hare refused to rule out hiring a new Elections Administrator who questions the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election results, calling it “not an automatic disqualifier.” Now, he and the extremist group "True Texas Project" have created a brand new unit, without notice, to investigate and prosecute so-called “voter fraud". I won't stand for it. As the Chair of the Congressional Voting Rights Caucus, I'm taking immediate action to protect Tarrant County voters' ability to freely and effectively participate in elections. That's why I've joined my fellow Tarrant County elected officials to request an investigation from the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division. Add your name if you agree: [Tell the U.S. Dept. of Justice Civil Right Division to launch an investigation into election denier Judge Tim O'Hare.]( [Add my name!]( Incidents of voter intimidation have increased since the Texas Legislature passed new voting restrictions last session. Now, MAGA Republicans are actively working to take over Tarrant County and diminish the voting rights of those I represent. Democracy is in danger in Texas's third most populous county. The federal government they must intervene to protect our constituents' ability to participate in elections. Standing up for you, - Marc [P.S: In order to take on MAGA Republican and election denier Judge O'Hare, we need resources.
