But 2+ years later, the sector has rebounded quite well. Some of this is due [to recent pieces of legislation]( that gave huge incentives to organizations producing semiconductors, clean energy components, electric vehicles, batteries, and the parts and raw materials needed to make them. [As of April](, the national unemployment rate for manufacturing is at 2.7%--much lower than construction, at 5.2% and hospitality, at 5.7%.
