Noodle soup & sweet potato snacks & braised pollock this month. Sounds good!  [View in browser](   [[]   Happy February!  February is here and we are well into starting 2018! I'm looking after my daughter's dog for a few weeks. He loves my pan-cooked chicken breast a lot! We are always looking at, and looking for, each other every moment. What a cute creature! I'm already sad when I think about saying good bye to him soon.    [New Recipe: Jjamppong (Spicy mixed-up seafood noodle soup]()  [Korean jjamppong]( is a spicy noodle soup full of seafood, meat, and vegetables. It's made with a lot of different ingredients, which makes it a hearty, filling meal, served spicy steaming hot.  One of my Korean viewers left this lovely comment on YouTube. I'll translate it for you.  JJ Park said, "My wife always loves jjamppong but every since she heard something bad about restaurant jjamppong, she never goes to a restaurant. Thanks to your recipe, I'm going to make it for her!" I replied, "You are awesome because you are planning to make delicious jjamppong for your wife!"   [Make Jjamppong and read my story about the recipe!](   [New Recipe: Dried sweet potato snack](  [Goguma-mallaengi (ê³ êµ¬ë§ˆë§ëžì´)]( are steamed and dried sweet potato slices served as a snack. It's easy to make, chewy, filling and full of sweet potato flavor.  These days I'm so happy to see my YouTube viewers communicate with each other through the comments. I hope everybody makes friends through my channel. On YouTube, Hurricane Redondo left a comment: "Maangchi, I'm making this!" Lynn Kesh asked him the next day: "Hurricane Redondon, how did it turn out?" Hurricane Redondo replied, "It came out good! I liked it! They were a little sweet which was good!"   [Make goguma-mallaengi!](   [New Recipe: Braised semi-dried pollock](  [Kodari-jorim (코다리조림)]( is a savory braised dish made with semi-dried pollock fish and radish. They are simmered in a sweet and salty seasoning sauce until it's reduced and fully absorbed, making them savory and flavorful, and the radish soft and juicy. This comment on YouTube made me laugh! Her mom had no choice but to make this dish! Kawi Bunga said: "I showed my mom this video today. I bought the fish and daikon and asked for her to make it tomorrow. My mom makes anything we ask as well. My dad loves her cooking too."   [Make kodari-jorim (braised spicy pollock)!](   I deliver Rik's High 5 request to all of you!  My reader [Rik De Stoop made jjamppong and posted a photo on Twitter](!   [Make jjamppong!](   [First We Feast!](  Sean Evans and the First We Feast Team came to my house and I showed him how to make [spicy Korean fried chicken, Yangnyeom-tongdak](.
