She proves you can run for office ending gun violence in the South and you can win.” – President Joe Biden {NAME}, this past Friday I was joined by President Biden at the Safer Communities Summit in Hartford, CT. When the President went on stage, what he said took me completely by surprise. He called me out by name, sharing my story of how I ran for office on a platform of ending gun violence. But what really touched my heart was how he mentioned my son Jordan.
