RE: I'm under attack for holding the GOP accountable

Today, the conservative website Breitbart put out an article accusing us of circumventing GOP leadership to bring my legislation to the House floor. Well, if GOP leadership refuses to act time and time again after our children are gunned down in schools and in the streets, then why should we let them stand in our way of passing gun safety measures? Almost 90% of Americans support legislation like this - so why do Republicans refuse to bring it to a vote?
