Big Oil does not care about America. This campaign is fighting for a real, sustainable energy future

Big Oil does not care about America. [Lucas Kunce for U.S. Senate] {NAME} — In the last week, the price for a barrel of oil dropped from $130 to under $100. But prices at the pump are STILL at record highs. Big Oil wants to keep America on its knees. Our politicians have spent 40 years holding us there. It’s time for American oil companies to put America first. Here’s how we can make it happen: [1. Ban overseas exports of any oil extracted in America, ending American reliance on foreign oil. 2. Cap oil profits at 5% to cut gas prices, and invest excess profits into renewables and nuclear. 3. Outlaw big oil from politics: Lobbying, contributions, PACs. 4. Jail any American oil executives who try and break these rules.]( This campaign is fighting for a real, sustainable energy future that puts the American people in charge, not oil oligarchs. That’s a message we can win on here in Missouri — [and that’s why today, I’m asking you to add a donation of any amount toward our mission to flip this open U.S. Senate seat in November. Your support is what helps us put this in front of voters across Missouri.]( If you've stored your info with ActBlue Express, we'll process your contribution instantly: [Contribute $10]( [Contribute $25]( [Contribute $30]( [Contribute $50]( [Contribute $100]( [Contribute $250]( [Give another amount]( Our government has wasted trillions of dollars on wars overseas and subsidies for them, and all they’ve done for us is raise our prices at the pump. An Exxon CEO even said, "I’m not a U.S. company and I don’t make decisions based on what’s good for the U.S." America makes enough oil to meet our needs, but much of our oil is being sold on a global market, hurting our ability to control oil supplies and gas prices here at home. By keeping American oil in America, we can start to undo that dependence on the global oil market — and by capping excess oil profits, we can stop America’s oil oligarchs from gouging us at the pumps. But we can’t stop there. We need to invest in our energy future right now. At this very moment, China is years ahead of us, positioning itself to have a global monopoly on the next generation of energy for decades to come. If this happens, we will have replaced our reliance on energy from Saudi Arabia and Russia with yet another dependence on China. We can’t let that happen. We need to Nation Build America so we can end our dependence on fossil fuels, create good jobs here at home, and finally put the American people in charge of our energy future. [If you’re ready to help us make it happen, please consider adding a donation of any amount toward this grassroots campaign to flip Missouri’s U.S. Senate seat.]( Let’s get this done.
