What has the reaction been like to Jordan being picked as Best in Travel destination? The reactions have been so great and positive. The support from all over Jordan has been immense. There was no doubt that Jordan would be picked as one of the best places to travel to — because it is! It came as no surprise to us Jordanians, but no one has ever captured it as well as “Best in Travel” did. It showed the real Jordan, the beauty of our country and the positivity of its people. Everyone was captivated! After working with us on the video, what was it like to see your home country finally revealed as one of our picks for 2023? I was so happy to see my beautiful country represented and presented in this way. This for sure was a big moment of pride for me. I finally got to show the Jordan that I know and love so much! Every place I took you to in the itinerary has a special place in my heart, but Wadi Rum would definitely be my favorite. There is no desert like it. It’s the best place to disconnect from the world and connect with yourself. Along with your shop – what’s the best souvenir to take home? Definitely soaps and spices. Everybody enjoys orange blossom water and ours is lovely. Use a teaspoon in a small cup of hot water (we call it white coffee).
