[Lindsey Cheek for Attorney General] People like me usually don’t run for office, {NAME}. [From Lindsey Cheek:]( That’s me, in the pink! I don’t come from money. I grew up as the oldest of five siblings. My mama sewed all the clothes on my back, and we passed it down from kid, to kid, to kid. Even though we might not have grown up with much, our parents instilled a priceless lesson in us early on: Anything is possible with hard work. [From Lindsey Cheek:]( Even when people doubted me, I never gave up. I worked hard to overcome the odds and obstacles against me. As a teenager, I worked multiple jobs to pay my way through school. I even saved enough money to buy my dream car at the time — a (used) 1998 Honda Civic. Then, I decided to go to law school, and it was the best decision I ever made. Since then, I’ve gotten the chance to fight for working-class families and take the big guys to court in Louisiana. And I’ve won case, after case, after case. We don’t get to choose what we’re given. But we all deserve a chance to achieve our American Dream. Our families deserve a level playing field and a government that cares about them — not one that meddles in their daily lives. That’s why I’m running for AG. Plain and simple. Just days ago, I was honored that Louisianans voted for me to qualify for the runoff election. And now with just a few days until our October end-of-month fundraising deadline, I need your help to share our message far and wide. [I’ve defied the odds before — and I’m ready to do it again on November 18 when Louisianans elect me to the Attorney General’s office. Will you help me get there by pitching in $10 towards our end-of-month fundraising goal?]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [CHIP IN $10 NOW]( [CHIP IN $25 NOW]( [CHIP IN $50 NOW]( [CHIP IN $100 NOW]( [CHIP IN $250 NOW]( [ANOTHER AMOUNT]( Thank you for reading this email.
