Today, I made $640 on a trade before lunch. Keep reading if you want to see how I did it. Remember, my results are not typical. Trading is hard. Most traders lose money. Now, for the trade of the day. 📈 TRADE OF THE DAY: BCTX Here’s why I loved it as a short trade: Early this morning, volume was high and the price had jumped up over 200% from the previous day. It was overall downtrending ([as you can see here](), trading well above VWAP, and had already hit its current monthly pivot. The company loses money. A lot. It’s not a good business. It’s burning through cash. I mean, not literally. Well, maybe they are. How else do you end up with only negative 2.8 months of cash left in the bank? A perfect candidate for a short trade. Around 9:15 (EST), the RSI was indicating it was overbought, and the MACD was showing a nice separation in its lines. That’s when I jumped in and shorted 2,000 shares at $1.93. It ended up dropping nicely, bounced slightly above VWAP, then dropped again to a halfway point between VWAP and the ghost pivot. That’s where I decided to take profits. Later in the afternoon, the company dropped an offering - diluting the current shareholders and dropping even more! As you can see, I left plenty of delicious profit on the table. But I don’t care. Why? Because I still took the meat of the move. 🥩❤️ I locked in my profits and still had plenty of time to spend on my actual lunch (and no pets in Ohio would be on the menu!)* *A little presidential debate humor right there. Haha. Here is my full P&L for the day. You can always see it on [Kinfo.com]( also. Mission accomplished. Have the best day ever. See you tomorrow. Rob [Unsubscribe]( | [Update your profile]( | 2001 Timberloch Place Suite 500, The Woodlands, Texas 77380 [Built with ConvertKit](=)
