Think "Work-Life Integration" Redistribute the positives and negatives evenly across both profession

[Lifehack.org]( Think "Work-Life Integration" Redistribute the positives and negatives evenly across both professional and personal life; stop relying on either of them for happiness. [Share Today's Tip With a Friend]( Hi there, Do you ever feel like you're on a see-saw trying to balance your work and personal life? Often, people try to achieve work-life balance by dividing their time strictly between work and personal life. This approach unintentionally divides us, and we end up feeling as if we are living two separate lives. When we think of work and life as separate entities, we're always forced to choose one over the other. On one hand, this creates a sense of loss and negativity, while on the other, it creates unrealistic expectations of enjoyment. For example, if we regard work as a necessary evil that we must endure until the time comes to turn it off, we are setting ourselves up for failure. Even if we enjoy our personal lives more, this mindset creates a negative association with work, and our performance suffers as a result. On the other hand, some people put a lot of effort into their work but carry negative emotions into their personal lives. Relationships and health can suffer as a result of this. What we need is to redistribute the positives and negatives evenly across both work and personal life. This means accepting that there will be some negatives at work and in personal life, but also enjoying the positives that each has to offer. It's essential to recognize that rebalancing work and life entails more than just finding a job you enjoy. While finding a job that you enjoy can be beneficial, no job is perfect. Any job will always have tedious aspects. And if we don’t address the problems at work, we will always carry negative emotions into our personal lives. You must change your mindset in order to stop feeling as if we are on a see-saw, relying solely on your personal lives or your work for happiness. Find a happy medium that works for you and enjoy the benefits that each side has to offer!
