Supporting us in this way makes such a big difference in what we’re able to do. [Leaders We Deserve]( Please use the links in this email to start a monthly donation. Hi {NAME}, it's David Hogg. I’m writing with a big ask: [I’m hoping that, if you can, you’ll start a monthly recurring donation of $5 or more to Leaders We Deserve today.]( And if you give me just a minute, I’ll explain how supporting us in this way makes such a big difference in what we’re able to do. When my friend Kevin Lata and I launched Leaders We Deserve last summer, we were blown away by the amount of support we got right at the start. Thanks to grassroots supporters across the country, we were about to invest over $100,000 into Nadarius Clark’s race and help him become the youngest member of the Virginia legislature just a few months after our launch ALREADY he just passed a gun safety law and killed a bill to arm teachers. That’s a big deal! This November, we’ve endorsed 12 more incredible young leaders who we’re pulling out all the stops to support as well. When you set up a monthly recurring donation, you’re helping give us a baseline for how much we’ll be bringing in on a monthly basis. That helps us plan for recurring expenses like rent on our office, travel to meet with candidates, salaries for staff (we just hired a new Development Director), and more. Too often donations rise and drop dramatically with the news cycle these donations really help elect candidates because a dollar in July has 5x the impact of one in October. Let’s be clear, though. When it comes to our office expenses, we’re pretty cheap! The vast majority of what we raise goes directly to electing young leaders across the country. But here’s the thing: the less we have to worry about organizational costs, the more we get to spend on helping our candidates win. And like I said, we want to go all out to elect every single one of our endorsed candidates this November. [So if you’re ready to change the face of our government for the better and elect the Leaders We Deserve on Election Day, can we count on you to set up a $5 monthly recurring donation today? Your support makes a BIG difference.]( [Donate $5 »]( Thanks, {NAME}. More updates soon, David Hogg [P.S. Can’t commit to a monthly donation? No problem. Make a one-time $5 contribution now. Every dollar we raise helps us reach our goals.]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [Donate »]( This email was sent to [{EMAIL}](#).
