Here's what I'm loving. Orpheus Theatre Company's "The Trail to Oregon" production features actors (from left) Grazia Saporito, Leigh Anne Hoes, Addison Rymar, Joshua L. Schwartz and Katherine Campbell Rossi. Not pictured is Luke Miller, who played many roles in the production. (Photo submitted.) 'The Trail to Oregon' I recently saw my first Orpheus Theatre Company production -- their take on Team StarKid's production of "The Trail to Oregon," telling the story of a family trying its best to make it to Oregon by carriage (and sometimes, by foot). I can't remember the last time I've had so much fun at a show. Of course, StarKid's writing set the theater company up for success. Their shows are always well-crafted and written well. But the actors with Orpheus took it over the top. I could write a novel about how talented Leigh Anne Hoes, the mother in the show, is. During the intermission and even after the show, I couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful and clear her singing voice is. And, Katherine Campbell Rossi, who played the son, was out of this world funny. Even when the scene didn't focus on Rossi, she was always making silly faces and doing silly things in the background. There are [two showings left in the production]( held Friday and Saturday at St. John's Episcopal Church, at 321 W. Chestnut St. in Lancaster. I fully recommend checking it out. (Note: The production is extremely silly, and at times a bit vulgar. If you are sensitive to those things, you may want to skip.) Did we spot you?
