[LaineyGossip.com - Calling all smuthounds!] Tuesday, February 13, 2018 [Intro for February 13, 2018]( [Gal Gadot](Dear Gossips, If you missed it yesterday and if you continue to have questions about Chinese zodiac and the corresponding elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, water) and why my ma’s list may not match up to the lists you’re seeing elsewhere online, we get into this on this week’s episode of [Show Your Work]( – [please listen](. It’s at the top of the podcast, a 10 minute discussion. Today it’s the Ox’s turn. The Ox could be the second luckiest sign of the Chinese zodiac during the Year of the Dog. One of the luckiest signs is shining on the Ox. But there is an adversary, someone who may turn out to be a nemesis. So you need to remain focused and aware and if you can stay responsible, that lucky star should be able to minimise your enemy’s damage. In addition to that lucky star, there are three other stars that can help the Ox at work. The entrepreneurial Ox could do more business overseas this year as there may be good news internationally. Expansion is a possibility. That said, your shine will attract envy, jealousy. And your luck will attract usurpers. Be humble, don’t flaunt, because over-confidence can screw with your perspective and leave you vulnerable to a takedown. Maintain calm through the year. Peace is the priority as turmoil reduces the potency of good luck and can even drive it away. 1961 Earth Ox – the Year of the Dog should be stable but never get too comfortable. 1973 Wood Ox – you may find yourself in the spotlight. A sudden surge in fame is possible. Don’t let it mess with your determination. 1985 Metal Ox – the luckiest of all the Ox during the Year of the Dog. But there is a temptation alert. You may be lucky but that will attract distractions and if you give into them, confusion can set in and your mind will be pulled in too many directions. Gal Gadot is a 1985 Ox. Let’s watch how this year plays out for her. If your birth year isn’t listed above, this is not an oversight. It just means that there are no special notes for you – which is NOT A BAD THING. Every Ox, no matter the birth year should protect relationships. Do not overburden your partner. Be patient and generous, and forgive when you can. Since the Fire is the strongest element this year, you are advised to mind your health and your blood pressure. Be extra cautious about your body. Reconnect with your spiritual community if that is an option. Volunteer. And a full checkup at the start of the Lunar New Year. The Ox should also be on alert for small people, petty people, and legal matters. The more successful you are, the more you may encounter rumours and minor legal or administrative headaches. February and March is the best time to see your doctor and prioritise your health. In March and April, don’t hand off your work, don’t be sloppy and delegate, don’t pass sh-t off. It can result in legal problems. Attention to detail is key. In April and May, pay attention to your liver and your kidneys. Eat sensibly and get more rest. In May and June, there is someone born under the sign of the Snake who may sabotage you. Stay vigilant and do not let your guard down around this person. In July and August, take precautions when you spend time outside. Maybe don’t sit out in the sun so much. The heat can affect the Ox, especially in a year when the Fire is so strong. In October and November, try not to overindulge. Put a lot of thought into your diet. Fruits and vegetables and a lot of fish. Overall, during the Year of the Dog, the Ox should make physical health and mental health a priority. This is how you protect your luck, by giving it a strong home where it will want to hang out. The movie has already broken all kinds of records for advance ticket sales. And some experts even think the current projection might even be on the low side. [Variety reported]( yesterday that industry experts don’t think Black Panther has even peaked yet and that the tracking looks like there’s still even more momentum out there, more gains, so that peak day for the movie (which apparently is typically 10 days before a movie opens) will be on actual opening day. Which, I imagine, is the marketing sweetspot. And that’s exactly what they’ve done SO well here with Black Panther: the marketing has been first class. So many creative ideas in play across the media landscape. This week, most of the cast of Black Panther has been in New York. It’s also New York Fashion Week. So Black Panther turned NY Fashion Week into Wakanda Fashion Week, a [charity fashion show last night]( to raise money for Save The Children featuring clothing and makeup and hairstyling all inspired by the movie. Lupita Nyong’s makeup artist was there and he talked to [Vanity Fair]( about how every detail, from the dots around the eyes to the eyebrows, has a connection to the entire Wakanda aesthetic. As we’ve seen during the press tour, the stars of the movie have also been styled, from head to toe to face to hair, to represent the look of Wakanda. Because the look of Wakanda is essential to an understanding of Wakanda. Because clothes can express an idea, an ideal, a place, a story. What? CLOTHES!? Can be important? On a red carpet!?! Yeah. It turns out some people WANT to be on a red carpet. Because it wasn’t always the case that they were visible on a red carpet. And now that they’re slowly becoming visible, they’re using their visibility to highlight the work of other people, other artists, or they’re simply there to prove that they belong, that they too deserve to wear the designs of the top houses in Paris, Milan, London, and New York. Something to remember for next time someone tries to roll her eyes because she’s so over the fashion question. Not everyone is. Some of them are more bonkers than others. The ones who still believe Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are secret-married are at one end the spectrum and, in general, in my experience, I’ve found the Emma Stone-Andrew Garfield stans to be pretty chill, relatively speaking. There is an entire online community devoted to [Diane Kruger]( and [Norman Reedus](. I don’t know, exactly, what their grievances are. Something something she did this or he did that on Instagram and what who why this means she’s a troll and he’s an asshole…it’s not clear to me. And I’m not sure it should be clear to you because if it was clear to us, well, I would worry about us. Anyway, over the weekend there was some drama on Diane and Normans IGs. According to emails I received, they unfollowed each other and then she followed him again? Or they unliked each other and unfollowed each other? One of those or all of those. Just know that this was happening and it was noticed. So the stans or the haters were speculating that, maybe, it was over. Or breaking? No. All that for nothing. Here they are in New York looking today looking for an apartment together. I would not want to share an apartment with him. He looks very…dry. And, look, I can handle a scruffy looking man. Unless that actress and “Becky” are the same person. Now a “Becky” investigated, meticulously documented like Donovan Strain’s, would be in the Hall of Fame. Ceremony, February 12, 2018](As I wrote yesterday [in my post]( about Kim Cattrall’s Instagram message to Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim is in a lot of pain, because of the death of her brother, of course, but also because, for 20 years, she feels she was meangirled by SJP who hasn’t really ever stood up for Kim whenever people tried to blame her for being too demanding and negotiating a fair deal for herself on the show and when they were making the movies. SJP is good friends with Andy Cohen. Andy is now defending SJP. Per [PEOPLE](� ): “I thought it was fake. I was like, ‘There’s no way Kim Cattrall has posted this on her Instagram.’ This is a woman who is in the middle of grieving the loss of her brother, which is tragic and sad,” Cohen, 49, said on his Radio Andy show on Monday. “She accused [Sarah Jessica Parker] of exploiting a tragedy and I’ve been getting all these tweets from people.” “She was doing press all last week for Divorce. And you know, guess what? When you’re doing press, you’re asked the same questions about what’s going on. So people, I’m sure, were like, ‘What do you think of what happened?’ And she simply and concisely expressed her condolences. I would not call that exploiting a tragedy. What was she supposed to do? Say something bad? I don’t understand,” Cohen continued about Parker, who spoke out about the tragedy to Extra at New York City’s Paley Center for Media on Thursday night while promoting Divorce. The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host also admitted that he doesn’t “like it that people are characterizing this as a catfight. There’s only one person fighting here.” Is it rich that [Andy Cohen]( doesn’t “like it that people are characterising this as a catfight”? Doesn’t he produce all those Housewives shows? Isn’t that the point of all those Housewives shows? Catfights? Of course Andy Cohen is defending SJP. He’s her friend. We defend our friends. A better friend might encourage their friend to consider the situation from someone like [Kim Cattrall](’s perspective but I’m not necessarily mad at Andy stepping up for his friend, especially when that friend is SJP. After all, Andy Cohen wants to keep going to the MET Gala. But does Andy always defend his friends? Or… is he selective about the friends he’ll defend? I’m thinking now about [Kathy Griffin](. Maria wrote about Andy and Kathy’s relationship [back in October](, when Kathy posted a video on YouTube (since deleted) calling out Andy and so many others for abandoning her when things went south. To be clear, what Kathy Griffin did last year, posing with the decapitated Trump head, was in terrible taste. And she deserved to be criticised for it. That said, over the last year, we have seen the kinds of people Hollywood has been willing to protect and forgive – and HOW those people have been protected and forgiven, even after they’ve hurt more people than Kathy hurt. Did you read The Hollywood Reporter’s [recent profile of Kathy]( about whether or not a “comic in exile can come back”? Practically five minutes after The New York Times published the Louis CK revelations, Matt Damon and others were [setting the stage for him to return](, eventually, arguing that he had apologised and that he’s been shamed and that he shouldn’t be written off. Louis CK, who spent years pulling his dick out and masturbating in front of women and then silencing them with his power and influence, to the point where they had to turn their backs on their own careers, even he had people who didn’t abandon him. But here’s Andy Cohen, trash-talking Kim Cattrall, after he trash-talked Kathy Griffin, and at the same time fronting like he’s an ally for women. Kathy Griffin walked her first red carpet this weekend since last May. Is Kathy Griffin out of exile now? [Click here]( to read that THR piece on her. She’s complicated. Yes, my God, she’s made some mistakes. Yes, again, what she did was horrible. My point is not to argue that what she did was horrible. My point is to put Kathy Griffin in perspective, in a town where many horrible men do horrible things all the time and either keep getting away with it or get away with it with just a slap on the wrist. Also there’s also some insightful work talk that’s happening here with Kathy, especially the parts about how she’s financially protected herself. That’s how so many horrible men have protected themselves from their mistakes – with cash, with cash power. And it’s interesting, at least to me, to read about how that looks on a woman like Kathy Griffin. As for Andy Cohen, how much longer is his friendship going to look good on SJP? It’s just… These pants, in particular, I mean they’re not my favourite. They’re Veronica Beard. But they’re also very another VB, Victoria Beckham. Posh loves a long, wide-legged pant. I just don’t understand the preference for them. Maybe it’s because I’ve stopped believing in pants that require a heel. These pants can ONLY be worn with a heel. Unlike so many other pants that can be worn with or without a heel. Isn’t that what we want in a pant? Whatever. The pants aren’t really that big of a deal. The deal is that, as we’ve seen, [Harry]( and [Meghan]( are a unit even before officially becoming a unit. That she continues to join him on duty and, by all accounts, has acclimated well to the royal role, without looking at all stiff or uncomfortable. They’re still holding hands, they’re still rather tactile together, they’re still openly showing affection, not going over the top and not seemingly too concerned about whatever bullsh-t old fashioned propriety standards that govern royal behaviour. How long before the modern Tommy Lascelles shuts this down and tells them to maintain at least a foot of distance between them? So many celebrities showed up for the party. Feels like every celebrity showed up for the party. Any time there’s a party, Leonardo DiCaprio always shows up to party. Lately though, every time he shows up somewhere, Leo’s always with Camila Morrone. Leo and Camila were first seen together in December, when he was papped [leaving her home](.
