How is OSCR360 helping the Larimer County Sheriff's Office to document their public schools? The Larimer County Sheriff's Office (CO) has investigated a variety of crime scenes, including sexual assaults, search warrants and suspicious deaths with their OSCR360 system. [ Now, the Sheriff's Office has begun using OSCR to document their schools. Finished OSCR projects will allow LCSO to: - Access the entire school campus remotely at any time, day or night. - Virtually tour the buildings to gain tactical confidence & familiarity with the layout. - Identify locations with potential safety concerns. - Identify escape routes & emergency equipment access locations, such as defibrillators or fire extinguishers. “We have the 3D laser scanner, but because of the functionality, the dependability, the quick readiness, and how efficient it is, we consider OSCR, not just the documentation process, but the software part of it, top tier because it’s just so efficient. The RVCRI (Rural Violent Crime Reduction Initiative) Grant [ Key Information: - RVCRI Grants are reviewed on a rolling, quarterly basis. The next application review is taking place now - March 2023. - L-Tron is happy to assist with OSCR360 grant applications. - RVCRI funding is authorized and available to all publicly funded rural law enforcement agencies, local or county law enforcement agencies serving rural populations and rural county prosecutor's offices. - OSCR360 is an applicable tool for the RVCRI grant, allowing officers to: "Enhance crime analysis capacity." "Purchase and deploy technology" [See more on the RVCRI Grant]( FY 2023 Smart Prosecution – Innovative Prosecution Solutions [ Key Information: - Deadline: March 28, 2023 - With this solicitation, the Bureau of Justice Assistance seeks to provide state, local, and tribal prosecutors with funding to reduce crime and increase public safety and trust in the criminal justice system. - L-Tron is happy to assist with OSCR360 grant applications. OSCR360 helps first responders proactively prepare for worst-case scenarios & train to save lives.
