I also released my Strategic Plan on Aging to make sure that our seniors can retire with dignity and financial stability. From expanding existing programs like Medicare to helping more seniors remain in their homes, these proposals would drastically improve the quality of life for millions of seniors. I'm also incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from this grassroots team after I introduced a resolution to finally certify the Equal Rights Amendment. This amendment would establish protections against gender-based discrimination in our Constitution, once and for all, giving us a legal basis to restore reproductive rights. Activists have been fighting for the ERA for 100 years, and it is truly an honor to carry forward their work today. Thank you for standing beside me in the fight for gender equity and reproductive freedom. Lastly, I fought tirelessly to make sure that the National Defense Authorization Act included a pay increase for service members, investments to clean up toxic PFAS contamination and funding for hundreds of spots in my cybersecurity academy at over 400 schools. Thank you for helping me ensure that our veterans and service members get the benefits they deserve. There have been so many other moments when you've stood beside me, and I am grateful for every single one of them. But our fight for progress is far from over.
