They sacrificed everything to escape communism. Now it’s our turn to continue their legacy. ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ Hey, Friend, it’s Ted Cruz. I’m reaching out to you today to tell you two quick stories. The first one is about the man I admire most in this world - my father. He fled communist Cuba after being imprisoned and tortured and came to Texas with just $100 to his name. He got a job washing dishes for 50 cents an hour and learned English before attending the University of Texas at Austin. He sacrificed everything to get to America and find a better life for himself, and I am so proud to be his son. The second story I want to tell you is about my dear friend, Michelle Steel. Her parents escaped communist North Korea and moved to Seoul, Japan, and finally to America in search of a better life for their children. Their courage to leave everything behind and flee a communist regime gave Michelle the opportunity to experience her own American Dream, and not a day goes by where she takes their sacrifices for granted. Our stories are two sides of the same coin, Friend. Our parents fought and clawed to escape communism, and we honor their battle every day in office by ensuring we keep those same principles far away from our shores. But the hard truth is, right now, Democratic leadership is more focused on ensuring their entire radical agenda gets passed than standing up for what is right. They’ve bowed down to these regimes and allowed their threat to our nation to grow rather than do what is necessary to keep Americans safe. It’s truly disgraceful, Friend, and if the Left wins the House this November, no one will be able to stop them from continuing down this path. Simply put, me and Michelle’s fight to defend the values that our parents sacrificed everything for will be over. But there is good news. The #1 seat the Democrats need to flip to take the Majority is Michelle’s, and if we can give her a huge boost tonight, we’ll be able to hold them accountable for their actions and push back against their agenda. [So please, Friend, will you contribute anything you can spare tonight to make sure Michelle can continue this important fight?]( [JOIN ME: SUPPORT MICHELLE STEEL]( Thank you and God Bless, Ted Cruz Paid for by Michelle Steel for Congress PO Box 472 Surfside, CA 90743 [Privacy Policy]( Keep Congress Republican PO Box 2221 Fort Collins, CO 80522 [unsubscribe]( | [manage data preferences](
